Assisted living facilities with a home care environment provide a sense of community
My dad, who has Alzheimer's lives at "Our House" located on Merritt Island, Florida. This private home, converted to an assisted living facility has approximately six seniors who receive 24 hour care. It's a wholesome environment with loving care givers who attend to the residence and their well being.
Creative Care Senior Day Care picks up my dad three days a week. The love and attention they provide, not just to my dad, but all the seniors who attend makes a genuine difference in their lives. Creative Care provides the opportunity for seniors to learn, exercise, sing, dance and share their days.
So many seniors barely have the funds to survive, let alone money to attend a day care facility that provides much needed socialization. Government funds are scarce and are not usually provided to seniors who's only ailment is a shortage of cash. Our mission at A1A Fund Raising is to provide financial assistance to seniors who deserve a higher quality of life.
